Unleash Inferno Mango campaign creative: black can in an orange mango splash, 'Fuel Beyond Limits'

01 Project context

A new drink needed a launch system, not a pile of posts.

Unleash is a D2C performance-drink concept built on Ayurvedic ingredients, performance, hydration and modern Gen Z culture. It hadn't launched. The job was to decide how it should enter the market — who it's for, what it stands for, how the first 90 days unfold, and how a first-time visitor becomes a first-time buyer.

  • Launch positioning
  • 90-day go-to-market strategy
  • Audience & channel strategy
  • Content pillars & campaign planning
  • 5-email nurture funnel
  • Marketing automation logic

02 Launch objective

  3. Stage 3Encourage repeat purchase
  4. Stage 4Build long-term brand love

03 Target audience

A gamer wants focus without a crash. A gym-goer wants hydration mid-set. A creator working late wants something that won't wreck their night. That difference is what the quiz and email funnel were built around.

08 5-email nurture funnel

From quiz sign-up to first purchase in eight days.

The funnel opens with a “Find Your Flavour” quiz. Its answer sets the flavour match, and that match shapes the copy in every email that follows.

Flavour reveal

Trigger
Sent immediately after the quiz is completed
Objective
Build trust before any pitch exists
Messaging angle
Deliver the quiz result and introduce the Ayurvedic, no-crash philosophy. No selling.
CTA
“See your personalised stack.”

What I'd measure first

Planned KPIs · not results
  • Email 1 open rateDoes sending the result immediately beat a cold broadcast?
  • Sequence CTRDoes education earn clicks, or only discounts?
  • Overall conversion rateDid segmentation turn into purchases, not just opens?
  • Unsubscribe rateThe health check on whether personalisation is landing.

09 Automation logic

Personalise by need, then by behaviour.

Two layers run the sequence. What someone told the brand decides the content. What they do next decides which email they see.

10 AI-assisted workflow

AI for speed. Strategy by hand.

Positioning, the GTM plan and the funnel logic were planned by me. AI tools sped up ideation, copy drafts and visual production — they didn't run the campaign.

  • ChatGPTStrategy thinking, hooks, captions, scripts, storylines
  • MidjourneyCinematic ad concepts, product visuals, moodboards
  • CanvaStatic posts, carousels, product highlights
  • CapCutReels, shorts, transitions, sound and motion
  • AnalyticsTracking plan and A/B testing for the planned KPIs

11 Key takeaways

What this project taught me.

  1. Positioning comes before promotion.Every channel decision was easier once “no-crash Ayurvedic performance” was locked.
  2. A launch needs a system, not isolated posts.Five phases, each with a job, each handing off to the next.
  3. Content and lifecycle should work together. The quiz turned social attention into data the emails could use.
  4. Audience, channel and message must connect. The same persona logic runs from audience cards to flavour match to CTA.
